Sales Assistant Responsibilities/Duties:
Reporting to Director of Sales. Supporting one national sales manager, and providing minimal support for a sales staff of 20+. Office Hours M-F, 8:30am-5:30pm.
Coordinating paperwork and logistics for client sales and promotions. Liaison between the sales and promotions departments; in charge of creating and updating all sales/marketing materials, collecting and communicating information between many departments.
Primary support for National Sales Manager, assisting in coordination of logistics with national order entry, production, promotions planning, aiding in writing proposals, sales material creation, billing and collections.
In charge of tracking and updating various sales department reports.
In charge of meeting planning and execution including ordering and picking up food, decorations, presentation materials, etc
Business Office Responsibilities/Duties:
Assisting the Business Manager with various business office reporting, database updating, info tracking, etc.
Being trained on and acting as back-up for various other support staff positions (ex: traffic, receptionist, executive assistant, etc)
Qualifications:
Must possess strong typing and general computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Comfortable and competent with working with numbers and basic spreadsheets.
Must possess strong telephone and communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and possess strong organizational skills.
